big NURSERY reveal!

ESTELLA'S AMAZING NURSERY!

Finally right?! Sorry it took so long. Taking care of Estella has taken precedence over everything and my internet sucks so this has been prolonged for good reasons :)

I will post WAY more pictures on my FB but here are my favorites!

We painted the walls a light gray (or well Ryan painted hehe) and he sketched out the mural in pencil! Free hand! He didn't use any particular photo but we looked up a bunch of google images to get some inspiration. 

My amazing husband hard at work. He is such a perfectionist...he worked A LONG time on this and was very intricate with all the detailing. He used the smallest brushes for detail and went over it many times til it was...well PERFECT.

I made this headband holder (inspired from Pinterest)! The bottom is from goodwill ($1) and the top is an old oatmeal box thing that I covered in scrapbook paper! Super easy and inexpensive! 

We wanted to put her name in the room but we wanted to stray away from the wooden letters that we've seen a lot. We wanted to make it super personal...very creative...and well...AWESOME.

1st letter: Vintage frame from good friends and the E was $5 from World Market

2nd: Ryan took the logo from Stella beer bottles and used it as the background!

3rd: hard to see it but the background is scrapbook paper and the T is shaped from push pins and tons of string going in many directions! 

4th: My favorite letter! Ryan actually made this for me as part of my birthday present in June. The copper coils are from our wedding..they were used to hang candles from our centerpieces. I always wanted to keep them and he used them as the background for this letter! :) Means so much and absolutely beautiful!

5th: We bought most of the frames from Goodwill because we wanted to keep with a vintage feel. We used scrap book paper and the lace as background. The lace is from a piece of the lace I used for the maternity photoshoot :)

6th: We did a simple chalkboard letter with some cheap chalkboard paint and chalk! We wanted to keep with the theme of my chalkboard updates all throughout the pregnancy.

7th: One of my favs! We did a letter with a bunch of buttons! :) Super fun and cheap!

Estella's amazing closet. She also has a drawer packed with clothes. Everything is organized by size. The cloth fringe at the top is from our baby shower that Metta made for us! 

Estella's beautiful iron wrought vintage crib with posh bedding :) Original price $1,000!  

We got the crib, iron wrought changing table, the dresser in the picture, a cedar toy chest (in our living room), and 2 full size mirrors to hang all for $70 back in April :)

We picked up this vintage mirror from a garage sale for $5! 

The little elephants are from Ryan's mom and Danielle.

The awesome glider was a steal for $70 from craigslist (barely used! we cleaned it obviously- orig price $400!) Here is a good view of the beautiful mural too!

The perfect sized book case with vintage books from Ryan's childhood and some new ones from a garage sale $10. All of her other books are organized in the wire drawers in her closet.

Beautiful vase from some good friends, vintage luggage I've had for a while that has some of her books in it, and the branches are from some centerpieces at our wedding:)

Most of the pieces you see are from our wedding, Goodwill, or vintage gifts we received! :)

This star was made for us as a Christmas gift from Uncle Evan a couple years ago and we put it in her nursery because her name means star! So it was absolutely perfect! 

A couple more personal details we wanted to be apart of her nursery includes this sign which was actually in Ryan's grandpa's dental office (Grandpa Page) who passed away a couple years before Ryan and I met. He meant so much to Ryan and we wanted to put this in her nursery to signify his presence in our lives even though he's gone physically...

As you can see from all the pictures I included, we really wanted to make her nursery unique... vintage... with very personalized touches from different aspects of our lives!

Estella has the BEST room in the house that we spent a lot of time on and although she doesn't realize (yet) how cool her room is...I am so happy we were able to provide it for her...and for us.

It took a lot of LOVE for the room to come together not just from us but from everyone that contributed to it with books, personal pieces, cards, etc so thank you for giving our baby girl the room of our dreams.
